What earning could look like

Not credit. Not merchandise. Cash.

A championship-winning season can become real money—not shop credit. This full-field model uses the current membership reserves, player purse contributions, payout method, skins, and rollovers.

One modeled outcome, not a guaranteed purse.

Modeled championship-winning season

Six circuit paid finishes beyond the wins + two invitational paydays + ordinary nine-hole skins + circuit points title + Colorado Championship main prize and skins.

$13,334

See what this model assumes
  • 720 paid members statewide, evenly split between the men’s and women’s divisions
  • 60 prize-eligible championship finishers in the player’s division
  • $10,800 division championship reserve plus $6,000 in championship main-purse contributions
  • One $1,000 no-finisher main purse from each circuit rolls into that division’s championship
  • One $400 no-winning-skin pool from each circuit rolls into championship skins
  • No championship skins are won; the champion has the lowest combined net and receives the 50% fallback share
  • Across circuit play, the champion adds two 2nds, two 3rds, and two 4ths to four wins
  • The champion wins one invitational, places 3rd in the other, and earns the $600 circuit points title
  • The player wins six ordinary nine-hole skins: three worth $200 and three worth $100 from full $400 pools

Separate statewide jackpot

What could the HIO pot reach?

Every tournament start adds $1 to one shared Colorado hole-in-one pool. With 720 members, the pot grows quickly when nobody aces—and any prior-season balance carries forward.

Formula: 720 members × average tournament starts + prior rollover

8 starts per member

$5,760

12 starts per member

$8,640

16 starts per member

$11,520

The HIO pool is not included in the $13,334 season total. A qualifying ace wins the frozen available balance; qualifying aces in the same award window split it. The pool then resets, while an unclaimed balance carries into the next season.

How the season works

Every round moves you somewhere.

The founding format is designed as a ladder: circuit events feed statewide invitationals, and the season ends at one Colorado Championship. Each division climbs its own.

  1. Step 01

Join a division and a Colorado circuit.

Compete in the men’s or women’s division, with Denver Metro, Northern Colorado, or Southern Colorado as your home circuit. Eligible players may also compete outside it.

  2. Step 02

Play rotating morning or afternoon nine-hole events.

The recurring backbone of the season. In a typical week, each division is planned to have a morning and an afternoon opportunity at regulation-length courses, subject to course agreements.

  3. Step 03

    Build points and earn invitations.

Results build your standing in your division. Standing is designed to open the door to statewide 18-hole invitationals with larger fields and purses.

  4. Step 04 · Finale

    Qualify for the Colorado Championship.

The season builds to a two-day, 36-hole Colorado Championship for the players who earn their place in it.

Beyond Colorado · Long-term vision

Local circuits in more markets, state and regional competition, interstate majors, and eventually a national tour. Colorado comes first.

Schedule and community

Compete hard. Stay awhile.

Morning and afternoon windows make room for serious players with real lives. Shared course days then bring the tour together without turning normal competition coed.

The round is only part of the experience. Recurring fields, post-round clubhouse time, player stories, and social events are designed to make the people around the game matter too.

  • Morning and afternoon

Each division is planned to have both in a typical week, giving serious players two clear ways into the schedule.

  • Rotating regulation-length courses

Venues are planned to rotate across Denver Metro, Northern Colorado, and Southern Colorado.

  • Shared course days

When a course can support it, men and women are planned to play at the same time on different nines.

  • The clubhouse is part of it

Players from both divisions can gather after their rounds, compare the day, and get to know the field.

  • A season with familiar faces

Recurring circuits turn one-off pairings into rivalries, friendships, and a community that builds all summer.
